Classic Country Quilts - Cozy, Casual and Comfortable

Want a better way to dress your bed for the Winter season? Think outside the comforter box and look toward a beautiful quilt for a new look in the bedroom. There are so many beautiful quilts in a variety of patterns and colors out now. You can choose from the classic country quilts that made Grandma's house so cozy, or choose a more modern floral, patchwork or geometric design in contemporary colors. A great blend of modern and traditional is the Virgina Patch quilt shown to the left. Contemporary blues and browns blend with a traditional patchwork pattern for a great look in a cotton quilt.

Quilts are more lightweight than comforters in that they do have the amount of fill between the face and back of the comforter. This is perfect if your home tends to be more warm or you are someone who does not like the bulk of a heavier comforter. A quilt is also a great choice if you live in a climate that does not experience harsh cold and therefore requires less bedding.

Perhaps, you want a more rustic look combined with contemporary colors. Cabin Lodge quilt is an example of bedding that gives you a neutral color palette in blue and brown with a rustic log cabin feel. Note that charming little cabin on the shams!

Whatever your taste in quilts may be, whether it be classic, country or rustic log cabin, there is something for everyone. Quilts are a special part of our history and are handed down from generation to generation. Truly, there is no other bedding that will bring such a cozy feel of casual elegance to your bedroom.

The quilts shown here as well as many others can be seen at Cabin Creek Bedding, a small specialty shop for country, cabin or lodge style bedding.
